Mentor – Mainstream Secondary
Supporting young people within a mainstream school environment, you will be the role model and Mentor they so desperately need.
This is an entirely new role at the school and is at the new frontline of emotional support within education. You will make an immediate impact from Day 1, supporting young people from disadvantaged and vulnerable backgrounds – both inside and outside of the classroom environment.
Using your relatability and passion, you will use the therapeutic aspects of sport, physical exercise, music, and dance – to find common ground and “breakthrough”.
Able to open up discussions around mental health and wellbeing, your passion and empathy will overcome barriers to learning as you become the positive influence in their young life.

Free Team Teach positive behaviour management, de-escalation and physical intervention training will be provided for successful applicants.
Long Term assignments pay up to £130 per day (including £0.40 per mile in travel expenses) and the Permanent opportunities can pay up to £28,000 per annum.
