Senior CCTV & Security Installation Engineer
The Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated CCTV Installation Engineer who can work independently while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, commissioning and servicing CCTV systems on a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites throughout the UK.
Responsibilities
- Install and commission IP CCTV systems.
- Install network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6) and associated infrastructure.
- Install containment including trunking, conduit, basket tray and cable tray.
- Configure NVRs, network switches and remote viewing.
- Carry out maintenance visits, fault finding and repairs.
- Test, commission and hand over completed installations to customers.
- Complete all relevant installation documentation.
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with customers at all times.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For - Essential
- Minimum 3 years' experience installing CCTV systems.
- Good understanding of IP networking.
- Experience with Hikvision or Hanwha Vision products.
- Excellent cable management and installation standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service.
Desirable
- Experience with access control and intercom systems.
- Fibre optic installation experience.
- ECS or CSCS Card. (Training provided)
- IPAF and PASMA certification. (Training provided)
- Experience working on commercial construction sites.
