Job Overview
We are seeking an Experienced Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team on a temporary basis. Duties
- Assemble electrical panels and control cabinets using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment.
- Wire components according to technical diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Conduct testing of assembled panels to ensure functionality and safety standards are met.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and modifications on existing panels.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during assembly processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Panel Wirer or in a similar electrical assembly role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised assembly equipment.
- Knowledge of wiring programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Strong electrical knowledge including wiring standards and safety protocols.
- Mechanical understanding related to panel assembly and component integration.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or related fields are preferred but not essential.
