What will my role be as an Assistant Activity Centre Manager - Casual?
The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, efficient and high-quality service to customers of Your Trust. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of a multi-disciplinary activity centre including Hollingworth Lake Water Activity Centre and Woodland Adventure, managing relevant staff, and supporting the General Manager as required. The role is also responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and compliance with industry and health and safety standards, while delivering a safe and enjoyable visitor experience.
What do I need to have?

Supervisory or Team Leader experience in a sport, leisure or outdoor activity centre environment including mentoring, motivating and coaching

Experience of working in a customer facing, target driven environment with a proven record of achieving results

Experience in a range of watersports and outdoor activities such as, paddlesports, powerboating, raft building, sailing, climbing

Experience of dealing with customers

Experience in a range of watersports and outdoor activities such as paddlesports, powerboating, raft building, sailing, climbing or adventure nets/high ropes

Hold First Aid at Work Certificate or demonstrate commitment and ability to achieve within 3-6 months

Proven ability to develop positive relationships with stakeholders, partners and members of the public including effective management of compliments and complaints

Knowledge of a range of watersports and outdoor pursuits related products and services and demonstrable confidence in promoting these

Ability to problem solve and make key decisions under pressure, including prioritising and meeting deadlines

Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills

Excellent time management skills
