Job Summary
Jark Worcester is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering long-term prospects for the right candidate within a busy production and despatch environment.
Duties include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Moving raw materials and finished products across site
- Loading and unloading HGVs
- Storing stock in designated racking locations
- Operating palletising equipment
- Completing production and stock documentation accurately
- Following all health & safety procedures
- 80% on FLT, 20% on stacking
The successful candidate will have:
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
- Previous Counterbalance FLT experience
- Good English and Maths skills
- Basic IT skills
- A reliable, flexible and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to undertake training on AisleMaster trucks and shunting duties
Hours
12-hour continental rotating shifts (06:00–18:00 / 18:00–06:00), averaging 42 hours per week.
