We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling various structures and components. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment. If you have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and are capable of heavy lifting, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities: Must be able to work under their own initiative and plan works so that the work is carried out to a good standard as per specification.
Own tools and transport plus references are essential.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications
- Assemble and install structures and components
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, etc.
- Experience in carpentry and woodworking techniques
- Familiarity with power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, etc.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and ability to plumb fixtures
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and ability to wire components
- Ability to assemble structures using various materials
- Capability of heavy lifting (up to [insert weight limit])
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and ability to install roofs
- Experience in painting and finishing surfaces
- Ability to fabricate components as needed
