Please note this is an apprentice job and as such will require in person training in college in Doncaster 1 day a week.
Barbers who are already qualified are welcome to apply but this training will not be needed if you already hold an nvq level 2 or higher

Duties
- Assist senior barbers with daily client services and grooming tasks
- Learn and practice various haircutting, trimming, and styling techniques
- Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide friendly, professional service
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area and tools
- Support the team by preparing styling products and equipment for use
- Observe and participate in consultations to improve communication skills
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to salon policies at all times
Qualifications
- Strong interest in hair styling, barbering, and personal grooming
- Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and team members
- Basic understanding of customer service principles
- Fluent in English or proficient enough to communicate effectively in a professional setting
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and learn new techniques quickly
- Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to grow within the industry
- Prior experience is not required but a passion for grooming is highly valued
