What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting individuals through person-centred care
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and the development of daily living skills.
- Providing housing-related support, including budgeting guidance and signposting to relevant services
- Supporting individuals with their mental wellbeing, confidence building and personal goal setting
- Administering medication safely and accurately in line with policies, procedures and individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate records
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 6 months paid fulltime UK experience in support work (or 12 months part time) in the past 3 years
- Understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs
- Reliable, compassionate and confident working alone or in a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs
- Committed to safeguarding individuals’ welfare and upholding the highest standards of safety, dignity, and professional conduct
- Ability travel flexibly to different and rural locations
