Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative to join our Building Repairs team as part of a contract with a North London Based Shopping Centre. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs on one of our leading contracts. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement.
Ideally CIS registered
The successful candidate will require:
Previous of experience in similar role
Building maintenance skills – Painting/Decorating, Groundworks, Basic Carpentry, Minor Plumbing/Electrics
The ability to work to deadlines in a safe and efficient manner.
The ability to work well as part of a team or alone
Communicate updates to our client for works undertaken
Be able to identity works and report back to the client to seek authorisation to carry out the works
You will be reporting to the Service Coordinator who will provide support where required.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner
- You will pay keen attention to Health & Safety actions in and around the centre, ensuring a proactive approach to works.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
- Carry out urgent remedial repairs
- Redecoration and general upkeep of the property
Qualifications:
- Multi Trade knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and repairing
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically
- Excellent customer service skills
