Flying Start Day Nursery is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated full-time Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive team.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to providing high-quality childcare and creating a safe, fun, and stimulating environment for children aged 2–5 years.
Requirements & Responsibilities
- Previous nursery experience is essential
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early years education
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and welfare requirements
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Experience with planning, observations, and the key person system
- Knowledge of OFSTED standards is desirable
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Sensitive and responsive to the needs of children, parents, and the wider community
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Friendly, positive, and approachable personality
- Ability to provide engaging, creative, and stimulating activities for children
