Pay:
- 2:00pm – 6:00pm: £12.71 per hour
- 6:00pm – 12:00am: £14.62 per hour
We are recruiting for a Press Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business based near Tewkesbury. Must drive as not accessible via public transport
This is a hands-on manufacturing role working with hydraulic press machinery to produce high-quality industrial products. The position is physically demanding and would suit someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working in a fast-paced factory environment.
Duties include:
- Loading raw rubber material into hydraulic press machines
- Removing finished products safely once the press cycle has completed
- Carrying out visual quality inspections
- Trimming and preparing products where required
- Following production schedules and meeting daily output targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Working closely with production colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous manufacturing, production or machine operating experience (preferred but not essential)
- A good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and lifting
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good attention to detail
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
