The Grosvenor Arms is a charming 18-bedroom boutique hotel in the heart of Shaftesbury, part of the Stay Original Co., a growing collection of independent boutique hotels.
We’re looking for a reliable, friendly and hardworking Part-Time Housekeeper (weekends) to join our team and help us maintain the high standards our guests expect.
The Role
As a Housekeeper, you’ll play an important part in creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests. You’ll be responsible for keeping bedrooms and public areas clean, tidy and presented to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and preparing guest bedrooms and bathrooms
- Changing bed linen and replenishing towels and guest amenities
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas
- Ensuring rooms are presented to a consistently high standard
- Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items
- Following health, safety and cleaning procedures
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive hotel team
We’re looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in their work and has a great eye for detail
- Is reliable, punctual and well organised
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has a positive, friendly attitude
- Can work weekends regularly
- Previous housekeeping or hotel experience is desirable, but full training can be provided for the right person
What We Offer
- £12.71 + tronc (approx £13.71 per hour, depending on age & experience)
- Shifts 7am - 3/4pm and 9am-3/4pm
- Up to 14 hours per week
- The role will include weekend and bank holiday work as a part of the rota, although we ain to provide a sensible and predictable schedule.
