Emerald Interiors is looking for a reliable and hardworking general labourer to assist with a commercial fit-out project starting 27th July in central london
The role will involve general site labouring and assisting our trades throughout the project.
Main duties
- Assisting with strip-out and demolition works
- Knocking down plasterboard walls and removing existing materials
- Heavy lifting and moving materials around the site
- Taking waste and rubble to the designated waste area
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Keeping working areas clean, tidy and safe
- Assisting skilled tradespeople when required
- Carrying out general site duties as instructed by the site supervisor
Previous construction or labouring experience would be beneficial, although the most important things are reliability, punctuality and a willingness to work.
Applicants must:
- Be physically fit and comfortable carrying out heavy manual work
- Have their own safety boots and basic PPE
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to travel reliably to Southwark Bridge Road for an 8:00am start
- Be available for the duration of the project
There may be opportunities for further work on future projects for someone who performs well. We have a number of ongoing project in Essex and London
