Since its opening in 2009, Yorkshire Wildlife Park has evolved to become the UK’s number 1 on-foot safari. We feature walkthrough exhibits that take the guest directly into the world of the animals. A dynamic centre for conservation and welfare, the park currently has around 475 animals across more than 60 different species. Unique, innovative and undergoing a period of continued growth and development, Yorkshire Wildlife Park attracts over 750,000 visitors per annum.
The Yorkshire Hive, situated adjacent to the entrance of Yorkshire Wildlife Park, is our brand new free-admission shopping, dining and entertainment destination. This upcoming indoor adventure facility is a new, exciting development designed to deliver high-energy entertainment for families, groups of friends, and corporate events.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Indoor Activity Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role involves engaging with guests of all ages in a lively indoor environment, ensuring they have an enjoyable and memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent hospitality experience and a passion for delivering outstanding guest services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to creating fun-filled activities for visitors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the highest levels of safety are consistently maintained.
- Service of hot and cold drinks, food and snacks.
- Delivery of a safe, fun and memorable experience for our all of our guests.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
Candidate:
- Able to maintain a friendly and outgoing attitude for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
- High energy level and ability to climb up and through play equipment when required to complete safety checks, cleaning and to assist with evacuation procedures.
- Keen eye for detail in the maintenance and safety of the play equipment.
- Ability to engage with varying clientele
