Position Warehouse Operative
Reports To Operations Manager
Physical Base Orpington
Working Hours The job is a full-time job with no limits to the uppermost working hours.
Normal working hours will be 42.5
Job Purpose Work alongside the existing warehouse team in their duties
Duties Receiving and processing incoming deliveries, ensuring they match the relevant delivery notes.
- Quality checks as part of the Goods inwards process.
- Labelling items correctly and storing stock/project orders whilst maintaining good Warehouse Standards at all times.
- Picking project orders from reserved stock and general stock areas.
- Packing and shipping orders, whether it be in readiness for our own Van or processing for dispatching on Overnight courier.
Key Organised and ability to multitask.

- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
Key Skills Basic understanding of Excel & Word
- Good level of basic mathematical understanding
- IT literate
Relevant Past experience in a warehouse minimum 5 years
Experience working with ironmongery (preferred but not essential)
Relevant Minimum GCSE/”O” Level Maths and English
Education GAI Diploma (preferred but not essential)

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

- Warehouse: 5 years (required)
