We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and talented Graduate Interior Designer/Space Planner to join our Creative Team. This role is perfectly suited for self-motivated team players with a positive and collaborative approach. You will be working alongside the internal Creative Team, working with clients on workplace, public sector, private sector and education projects; working on producing 2D designs and plans, 3D visuals for presentation purposes and recommending complementary fabrics and finishes.
To succeed in this role, you must be confident and able to communicate effectively with our Area Managers. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, creative thinking skills and be able to create exciting designs based on conversations with key stakeholders.
To succeed, you will ideally have:
- BA (Hons) Interior Design or similar. (with minimum experience)
- Software skills including AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, 3D Visualisation, Revit, PCon, 3DS Max (desirable, but not essential)
- Understanding of technical drawing packs
- Ability to create and present mood boards and ideas
- A clear understanding of the design process
- Ability to work towards deadlines and be organised.
- Ability to collaborate with internal Area Managers, suppliers, and customers to achieve project objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong external and internal relationships.
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Producing 2D space plans and 3D designs to a working brief.
- Producing high-quality presentations.
- Provide technical support when needed.
- Explore innovative new ways of working to enhance the customer experience.
