We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our guest rooms and public areas. The successful candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing high standards of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail to contribute to our guest experience. All positions are paid, including internships, with flexible shifts available.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure rooms are fully equipped for guest use
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
- Assist with laundry duties when required, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens
Experience
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Experience in hospitality or janitorial roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are desirable
