We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at our busy Bar & Restaurant. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality home cooked food.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef in the daily running of the kitchen
- Assist with menu development, specials, and seasonal dishes
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety
- Manage stock, ordering, and reduce food waste
- Step in to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior Chef de Partie
- Passion for fresh home cooked food
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy service environment
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
