We're looking for an experienced UK Finance Controller & Payroll Manager to join our Finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll lead the financial accounting teams across Lyons and Farne, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, strong financial controls and effective support to the wider business. You'll also play a key role in developing systems, processes and team capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly and group financial reporting.
- Manage period-end close processes.
- Oversee statutory reporting, audits and HMRC submissions.
- Monitor cashflow and treasury activities.
- Maintain strong financial controls and accurate records.
- Develop and support the Finance teams across both sites including the payroll dept.
· Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/finalist.
- Previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally within manufacturing.
- Strong financial reporting and technical accounting knowledge.
- Experience of SAP or other ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
Pay: £50,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
