Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Air Source Heat Pump Installer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Install air source heat pump units according to manufacturer specifications, schematics, and safety standards
- Conduct system diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and perform equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Perform routine maintenance on heat pump systems to extend lifespan and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and clients to coordinate installation schedules and address technical queries
- Maintain detailed records of installation procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC or related construction fields
- Ability to read and understand schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams
- Strong leadership skills to oversee installation processes and guide junior team members when necessary
- Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance of air conditioning systems
- Familiarity with construction sites or building projects is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heat pumps
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
