Job Summary: The rate is negotiable starting at £15ph for the relevant experience.
We have an opening for a vibrant, experienced dental receptionist. We are also inviting applications from those who have worked outside of the industry but you must have excellent people skills and have worked in a highly focussed customer service environment where the client/patient is your main focus. The role requires someone to have a good level of experience with client/patient software.
It goes without saying that we need all the attributes associated with this kind of a role, good communication skills, organised, calm and a pleasant disposition. You'll be very well supported by our front of house team to give the patients the very best experience.
Initially, we don't formally interview, just come for a chat and spend some time with us so you can fully appreciate the team in action. We can look at hours to see what suits you and rates are negotiable.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients to the dental practice
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Maintain patient records and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus but not a deal breaker
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office and dental practice management software or similar
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
