Ateres is a high school in Felling. We provide a very friendly and warm environment for staff and pupils.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and maintain the school premises to ensure that they are clean, secure, safe and well maintained.
- Locking and unlocking the buildings, as required.
- Assisting users with setting up facilities such as chairs, tables etc.
- Ongoing repair and odd job work as necessary
- Small plumbing jobs
- Supervision of some maintenance contractors on site as directed.
- Receipt and distribution of any ordered goods, materials and equipment for the School, checking delivery
- Perform general caretaking duties, including cleaning and maintaining the premises
- Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces
- Restocking supplies
- Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personne
Experience:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
