We're looking for a Customer Invoicing Administrator to join our Finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with finance administration or accounting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You'll play an important role in supporting day-to-day accounting activities, helping to ensure invoices, payments and financial records are processed accurately and on time.
Working as part of a supportive team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across the business to resolve queries, maintain strong financial controls and deliver a positive experience for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities…
- Processing and verifying invoices accurately and within agreed timescales
- Completing account reconciliations and investigating any discrepancies
- Supporting month-end activities and meeting key deadlines
- Processing and allocating customer payments and receipts
- Managing bulk vehicle stock accounting processes
- Handling queries from customers, suppliers and internal colleagues, taking ownership through to resolution
- Supporting Customer Relations teams with finance-related queries
- Assisting with audits, controls and compliance activities
- Providing support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and other Accounting Operations teams when required
- Contributing to process improvements and ad hoc projects
Skills and Experience…
- Experience in a finance, accounts or accounting administration role
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
AAT studies or qualification would be beneficial, but not essential
