Summary
We wish to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly team, in order to support our teaching staff in this good school. The successful candidate will support the progress and achievements of children with additional needs, this could be in any of our classes. They must be able to work effectively as part of a team and have a good standard of English and Maths. Experience of working with children who have social interaction and communication needs is essential.
This position is term time only. Please note the salary quoted is full-time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
- Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy
Desirable Qualifications
Essential Experience
- Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant age
- Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
- Experience of delivering interventions
- Experience of supporting pupils with social interaction and communication needs
Desirable Experience
- Experience of working in Early Years
