Job Summary
We are looking for dedicated and reliable team members to join our family run garden maintenance company. Our mission is to keep our customers' gardens in tip-top condition, providing comprehensive services including lawn-mowing, hedge-cutting, planting, pruning, and general year-round maintenance. We pride ourselves on our excellent reputation and are looking for individuals who will help us uphold it.
Responsibilities
- Planting, pruning, watering, fertilising
- Operating hand tools, power tools safely
- Maintaining lawns through mowing, aerating
- Managing weed control
- Monitoring plant health and identifying signs of disease or pests for prompt action
- Ensuring all outdoor areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Assisting with seasonal planting as required
Experience
- Proven experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance is desirable but not essential
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools would be desirable
- Growing experience or knowledge of plant care techniques is advantageous
- Previous work involving gardening or landscape projects will be highly regarded but not essential
- A genuine interest in horticulture and outdoor environment management is essential for success in this role
