Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial records. Duties
- Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors
- Utilise accounting software Xero to maintain precise financial records
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and expense tracking activities
- Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare reports related to accounts receivable, payable, and other financial data as required
- Maintain organised filing systems for all financial documents and correspondence
- Assist with general office duties as required
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with accounting software Xero would be an advantage
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience in an administrative or finance-related role is desirable but not essential
- Further hours may be available
