Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and offering medication guidance.
- Maintain precise records of medication dispensing in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Support pharmacists in daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
- Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the pharmacy environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven pharmacy technician experience or relevant background.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Strong commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is preferred.
