Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Walker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide excellent care for dogs of various sizes and temperaments. This role involves ensuring the safety and well-being of the dogs while providing them with regular exercise and companionship during their walks.
Responsibilities
- Walk dogs in various weather conditions, ensuring they receive adequate exercise and social interaction.
- Monitor the behaviour and health of each dog, reporting any concerns to the owner or relevant personnel.
- Provide basic animal care, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication if required.
- Maintain a clean environment by picking up after the dogs during walks.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's behaviour and well-being.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary, such as carrying equipment or assisting larger breeds.
Qualifications
- Previous Dog experience is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong background in animal care, demonstrating a genuine love for pets.
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with pet owners.
- Ability to manage multiple dogs at once while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and walk for extended periods.
