As the Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and maintenance of our clients' air compressor systems, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a robust technical background and exceptional managerial skills. The successful candidate will oversee a dedicated team of service technicians, manage service contracts, foster strong client relationships, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
You will:
- Lead and inspire a team of service technicians, ensuring a high level of performance, productivity, and job satisfaction.
- Oversee the execution of service operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations of air compressor/gas generation systems.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and proactive engagement. Address client needs, provide technical support, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide technical guidance and support to the service team and clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimisation, and efficiency gains in service delivery, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.

This is an office-based role located in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, with a requirement for site visits as needed.
