We are a small company that specialises in Historic Building survey and engineering projects, with a range of projects from topographical survey, laser scanning, photogrammetry, along with other projects involving setting out, movement monitoring and dimensional control.
- Experience using total stations is essential to undertake dimensional control, setting out along with topographical surveys.
- Experience in use of laser scanners and data processing desirable as well.
- Knowledge of photogrammetry and use of cameras and UAV a bonus.
Our office is based in Devizes Wiltshire with a roughly 50-50 ratio of site and office work. Some home working possible but candidates should expect to be in the office weekly. Our work does take us across the whole country, many of our projects involve working on some of the finest Historic Buildings in the county so a sensitivity to working in such environments essential.
Membership of or working towards relevant professional body such as Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors as an MRICS or the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors as MCInstCES with CEng Registration desirable.
Possess a driving licence and be content with outdoor life essential. The position has a six months probation period with the aim of making it permanent and will come with the use of a vehicle or vehicle allowance.
