Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension components.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or maintenance.
- Maintain detailed records of all service work performed, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support ongoing vehicle maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and extend vehicle lifespan.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Basic customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment repair and maintenance.
