What’s the job?
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a brand new development in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The development consists of a 35 unit traditional build apartment block.

The ideal candidate will have;
- Proven track record of delivering traditional build apartment blocks
- NVQ Level 6 in Site Management
- SMSTS, First Aid and Basic Scaffold Inspection training
- Previous experience of temporary works coordinating
- Excellent construction and product knowledge
- Experience of building control and warranty provider standards
- Ability to problem solve and react to issues and challenges
- Effectively manage time to meet deadlines and work to programmes
- Fire Warden certification
- Confident in the use of IT (Outlook, Excel, Word & management systems)
- Effective leadership skills and able to set a high standard of work from others
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
Key Responsibilities of a Site Manager
1. Recognise and fulfil the legal duties and obligations of a Site Manager regarding building and life safety.
2. Deliver the project in line with technical, quality, programme and budget requirements in an effective, safe and professional manner.
3. Maintain full compliance throughout the duration of the project applying company values, industry conduct and behaviours
There will be a two stage interview process for the role consisting of an informal telephone interview and a face to face interview with the Construction Director, working towards a start date of 5th October 2026. References will be required.
