Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team, responsible for enhancing and maintaining the aesthetic appeal of various interiors and exteriors. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting and decorating, with a keen eye for detail. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, delivering high-quality finishes that meet client expectations. A valid driving licence and own transport is essential to facilitate travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care
- Use a variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently, including brushes, rollers and scaffolding
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years experience in painting and decorating
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Valid driving licence and own transport is advantageous for site travel purposes
- Excellent eye for detail to achieve high-quality finishes
- Reliable team player with good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

Pay: £140.00-£180.00 per day
