About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Field Sales Representative to recruit and build long-term partnerships with care homes for our specialist pharmacy services. The role involves identifying potential clients, presenting our tailored medication management solutions, and developing strong relationships with care home managers and owners.
You will play a key role in expanding our presence in the care sector, ensuring care homes receive a safe, efficient, and compliant pharmacy service that enhances resident wellbeing and supports staff efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach prospective care homes within the assigned territory.
- Present pharmacy service offerings clearly and professionally to decision-makers (e.g., care home managers, owners, regional directors).
- Develop and maintain strong relationships to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Conduct on-site visits to understand each care home’s specific medication management needs.
- Liaise with internal pharmacy and delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding and transition for new clients.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and recruitment targets.
- Maintain accurate records of visits, leads, and conversions using CRM systems.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote services.
- Provide feedback from clients to internal teams to improve service quality and customer experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably within healthcare, pharmacy, or the care sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust quickly with senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, with excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based role.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations or care home operations is advantageous.
