Technical Engineer – Telecommunications
Location: Swindon | Permanent, Full-Time | 36.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (£673 - £769 per week approx.)
Holiday: 28 days including Bank Holidays + 5 wellbeing days after probation

What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience designing cables and power solutions in telecoms or related sectors
- Strong knowledge of electrical communications systems and fibre optic technologies
- Ability to produce technical drawings, work instructions, and electrical designs
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and internal teams
- Proactive problem solver with attention to detail
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Sales and customers to develop technical solutions
- Produce and maintain design documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Provide training and technical guidance to the production team
- Manage a small technical team and uphold ISO and Health & Safety standards
