Responsibilities
- Safely operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle to deliver food orders promptly and accurately.
- Navigate city streets using GPS or maps, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing friendly and professional service.
- Handle food packages carefully to maintain quality and presentation during transit.
- Manage delivery logs and update order statuses using digital systems or apps.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential; <PERSON> driver experience is a plus.
- Commercial driving experience or background in warehouse operations can be advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as part of daily duties.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Experience in driving various vehicles, including vans or trucks, is beneficial but not mandatory.
