We are seeking an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join our ambitious and passionate brigade at one of the region's leading fine dining restaurants. The Role
As Senior Sous Chef, you will be second in command of the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in every aspect of the operation. You will take responsibility for leading services, maintaining consistency across every dish, and ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently while upholding the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen.
- Lead and inspire the brigade during service, ensuring flawless execution.
- Prepare and present beautifully crafted dishes to the highest fine dining standards.
- Assist in creating innovative seasonal menus and tasting menus.
- Train, mentor, and develop junior chefs to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, organisation, and food safety.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, supplier relationships, and cost control.
- Ensure consistency in presentation, flavour, and quality across every service.
- Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence.
About You
You will be an experienced Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef with a strong background in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or Michelin-standard kitchens.
You'll also have:
- Proven experience within a fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques.
- Passion for premium seasonal produce and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Calm, organised approach under pressure.
- A commitment to mentoring and developing others.
- Excellent understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
- A positive, professional attitude with high personal standards.

Schedule
