About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Menswear Garment Technician to support our Garment Tech team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate or recent graduate with up to 2 years of experience and a genuine interest in menswear garments. Initially offered on a part-time basis, this role has the potential to evolve into a full-time position as the workload demands. The primary focus will be on managing the sample process efficiently and accurately, providing crucial support to the Senior Garment Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sample Management:
- Receiving and prioritizing samples based on delivery dates to meet deadlines.
- Processing relevant workbooks accordingly.
- Precisely measuring garment samples according to company standards, ensuring they are ready for fit sessions.
- General Support:
- Providing general support to the Senior Garment Technician to manage overall workload.
- Maintaining organized sample storage and tracking systems.
- Assisting with other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Garment Tech team.
Skills and Experience:
- Entry-level to 1-2 years of experience in a garment technology or related role is desirable.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience and knowledge in accurately measuring garment samples.
- Basic understanding of garment construction and pattern cutting principles.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive and can-do attitude with a willingness to learn and be coached.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Ability to remain calm and manage workload effectively under pressure.

Working Hours:
This is initially a part-time role with an opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. Working hours are Monday to Friday, between 9:00 am and 5:30 pm.
Salary:
Competitive, commensurate with experience.
