We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Bar Manager to lead our bar operations at Afrikana Uxbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, managing stock and costs, and leading a motivated bar team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the bar.
- Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure drinks are prepared and served to company standards.
- Manage stock levels, ordering, inventory control, and wastage.
- Monitor bar sales, labour costs, and profitability.
- Maintain cleanliness, health & safety, and licensing compliance.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Support the wider management team in achieving business targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, ideally as a Bar Manager or Senior Bartender.
- Good understanding of bar operations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
