We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic person to join our fully private clinic as a full or part time, qualified dental nurse. For the right candidate, we can be flexible with the hours of work and strongly believe in a good work/life balance!
We require someone with excellent communication skills to report patient needs directly to the owner, dentist and hygienist. You must be adaptable, with a flexible attitude and flawless customer service skills. We transform lives and deliver 5* patient journeys - we don't believe in anything less! The Role of a Dental Nurse.
The role:
- Perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting the dentists, hygienists, and surgeons
- Prepare and maintain the clinical environment
- Carry out infection prevention and control procedures
- Record dental charting and oral tissue assessment carried out by other registrants
- Keep full, accurate and contemporaneous patient records
- Prepare equipment materials and patients for dental radiography
- Process dental radiographs
- Monitor, support and reassure patients
- Give appropriate patient advice
- Monitor and maintain stock within the practice as necessary
- Grow as an individual and learn skills for life!
Essential experience and skills:
- Candidates must be GDC registered
- Familiar with EXACT/Software of Excellence system preferable
- An excellent chair side manner and the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional way is essential
- Dental Implant experience would be desired (we are happy to teach this for the right person!)
- CAN DO ATTITUDE & PASSION is an absolute must!
- Candidates with implant experience & extra skills (radiography, sedation etc) will be offered the higher end of the salary bracket offered.

Hours – Full OR Part time - we can be flexible but ideally need someone who can work 8.00am - 5.30pm min 2 days a week - (min 18 hours per week). Happy to discuss options of less/more hours for the right candidate! Monday-Friday hours ONLY!
