We have an exciting new vacancy for a Proactive Sales Executive to join our team at The Felbridge Hotel Gatwick.

Conveniently located on the edge of East Grinstead along the A22, we’re easily accessible from the M23 and M25 motorways, making us commutable from nearby towns such as Royal Tunbridge Wells, Crawley, and Horley.
As a Proactive Sales Executive , your focus will be to generate new conference and events business . You will work to develop relationships with key clients and agents, maximising sales & revenue. A passion for sales is vital, as are communication skills.

As a Proactive Sales Executive your role will consist of:
- Working closely with the Sales Manager on developing business opportunities for your given portfolio of accounts
- Continue to grow business in your own segment, by proactively searching for new leads
- Have a close working relationship with the Meeting & Events Team and other Heads of Departments of the hotel
- Compile and present monthly reports to the management team
- Entertain guests while hosting show around inspections of the hotel
- Create and implement the hotel sales strategy to drive performance
- Drive sales across all market segments into the hotel, in particular events at the hotel
- Attend outside commitments and attend networking events, including exhibitions for the hotel and collectively for the company.
Person Specification
Be confident and approachable, with fantastic communication skills and a ‘can do attitude’. Proficiency in managing your diary and organisation skills. Be able to anticipate guests needs. Requires excellent communication skills both verbal and written. We want you to think outside the box and to come up with new ideas! Make it easy for the guests and love what you do daily!
