Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Your expertise in carpentry, joinery, and fabrication will contribute to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install woodwork and other materials with precision using hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate custom components for various construction projects, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
- Perform roofing tasks such as installing trusses, sheathing, and waterproofing materials
- experience in drywall
- Support plumbing and electrical teams by providing carpentry solutions that facilitate their work processes
- Lift heavy materials safely while adhering to health and safety regulations to prevent injury or damage
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, or related construction roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Skilled in fabrication and assembly of woodwork and other building materials
- Proficient with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, levels, and measuring devices
- Comfortable operating power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and safety procedures for working at heights
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during material handling tasks
- Basic understanding of construction painting techniques and finishing processes
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, masonry work, or electrical experience is a plus but not mandatory
