Dental Therapist – Fridays
Pearl Smile Sandbach
We’re looking for a friendly and motivated Dental Therapist to join our team on Fridays at Pearl Smile Sandbach.
We’re a busy, established mixed NHS and private dental practice with a strong patient base and a friendly, supportive team. We use digital systems throughout the practice and work closely together to provide our patients with a high standard of care.
You’ll work alongside our dentists and hygiene team, providing a mix of preventive and restorative treatment while helping patients feel comfortable and well looked after.
The role will include:
- Direct access hygiene and therapy appointments
- Periodontal treatment and maintenance
- Oral health education and preventive advice
- Restorative treatment within your scope of practice
- Taking radiographs and maintaining clinical records
- Managing your diary efficiently
- Keeping accurate patient notes and maintaining compliance standards
- Supporting nervous and anxious patients with a calm, reassuring approach
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a GDC registered Dental Therapist
- Is friendly, professional and genuinely patient-focused
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Works well as part of a team
- Is organised and able to manage their time effectively
Experience within both NHS and private dentistry would be beneficial, as would experience using Dentally and confidence working under direct access, but these are desirable rather than essential.
