Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and accurately
- Respond promptly to guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing helpful information and assistance
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with attention to detail
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring guest safety
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate guest requests and resolve issues promptly
- Keep the concierge area tidy, organised, and fully stocked with relevant materials
- Assist with administrative tasks such as logging guest feedback and maintaining records
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, demonstrating professionalism at all times
Skills
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse clientele effectively
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Bilingual skills can enhance communication with international guests
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for handling enquiries courteously
- Strong organisational skills and time management to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour
- Knowledge of the local area or surrounding attractions is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
