Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages efficiently and responsibly, ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service
- Maintain a clean, organized bar area in accordance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and handle alcohol responsibly at all times
- Engage with guests in a lively, positive manner, fostering a fun and welcoming atmosphere
- Manage cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and POS systems
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area, including stock replenishment and cleaning duties
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospitality environments, particularly in bars or restaurants
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible serving of alcohol
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse guests and team members
- Familiarity with serving techniques, drink recipes, and customer service best practices
- Basic math skills for handling payments, tips, and inventory counts
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable for understanding the fast-paced nature of hospitality roles
