Overview
We are seeking someone who is experianced in the installation of drainage. The ability to read levels and falls from drawings, carry out general groundworks ie foundations, concreting, earthworks, hard landscaping etc to work in a small team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install drainage systems to specification and required standards
- Read and interpret drawings to understand levels and falls
- Carry out general groundworks on new build and extension projects
- Prepare sites and assist with excavation, trenching, and backfilling
- Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
- Work closely with colleagues on site to deliver high-quality results
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area
- Follow site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in groundworks, especially drainage installation
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Good understanding of levels and falls
- Experience working on domestic and commercial projects
- Ability to work effectively as part of a small team
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Awareness of health and safety on site
Desirable
- Valid CSCS card
- Relevant plant tickets or site certifications
- Full UK driving licence
- CIS Scheme
