Acoustic Engineer
Kempston, Bedfordshire
We’re looking for an Acoustic Engineer to join a friendly and collaborative engineering team developing innovative environmental monitoring technology used to improve health and environmental standards worldwide.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in developing acoustic and vibration monitoring products, working closely with electronics, firmware and software engineers throughout the product lifecycle.
The team works closely together in a supportive and collaborative environment where ideas are shared openly, knowledge is valued and people genuinely enjoy solving problems together.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the development of acoustic and vibration monitoring products
- Working with microphones, sensors and measurement electronics
- Analysing product performance and supporting troubleshooting activities
- Supporting prototype development and real-world testing
- Working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary engineering team
We’d love to hear from people who have:
- A degree in Acoustics OR
- a degree in Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline combined with industry experience in acoustics
- Experience working with acoustic measurement or monitoring systems
- An understanding of sound measurement and vibration analysis
- A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Pay: £30,000.00-£62,023.49 per year
