Quality Technician - Plymouth - £33,600.00 - £36,000.00
Shifts: Alternating 6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm
We’re proud to be partnered with a leading engineering and manufacturing business who are looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections and accurate measurements using CMM, manual equipment and 3D scanning.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Produce measurement reports and maintain quality records.
- Carry out calibration, hardness testing and material inspections.
- Create and maintain CMM measurement programmes.
- Support QA and Production with problem solving and verification.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety.
About You
- Previous Quality/Metrology experience.
- CMM operation/programming experience.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Experience with calibration and dimensional measuring equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Reliable, organised and keen to learn.
