The Role
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Installer to join our installation team. You will be responsible for the installation of traditional timber sash and case windows, casement windows, and external timber door sets across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and surrounding areas. Working to the highest standards, you will ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Install timber sash and case windows, casement windows, and external timber door sets to a high standard.
- Remove existing windows and doors with care and prepare openings for new installations.
- Carry out remedial joinery work where required to achieve a quality finish.
- Glaze windows on site where necessary.
- Ensure all installations are weatherproof, secure, and fully operational.
- Fit ironmongery and make final adjustments to windows and doors.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times, both on site and in company vehicles.
- Communicate professionally with customers and represent the company in a positive manner.
- Complete installation paperwork and report any site issues to management.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience installing timber windows and doors.
- Proven experience fitting traditional timber sash and case windows.
- Good all-round joinery skills and experience carrying out finishing work.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
- Full UK driving licence (required).
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Job Details
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Based in Livingston EH54 9BX with work across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and surrounding areas. Occasionally may be required to work away for fittings across UK.
Applicants should be able to reliably commute to Livingston or plan to relocate before starting work.
Experience Required
- Window and door installation: Minimum 2 years (required)
- Timber sash and case window installation: Minimum 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
