Duties
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Accurately pick customers orders.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure prompt deliveries and maximize productivity
- Load and unload products and bread baskets
- Verify delivery orders against documentation for accuracy before dispatching
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine inspections to ensure optimal operation and safety standards
- This is a six day per week position, and is a salaried position. Mid week days will be an earlier finish than Friday & Saturday.
- Typical day is from 2.30am - 11.30am.
- Holidays are 51 days per year plus bank hols.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Strong knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and navigation tools for efficient route planning
- Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding cargo handling and storage procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Demonstrated responsibility in vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to safety protocols

Pay: £34,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
